Heart’s Home

Heart’s Home (Points-Cœur) is an international charitable organization founded in 1990 by Rev. Thierry de Roucy.

It provides compassion and hope for disadvantaged and socially isolated individuals throughout the world, striving to forge intimate, long-term bonds with these people.

Heart’s Home also commits itself to spreading a “culture of compassion” in various cultural fields, including art, education, business, science and politics.

Today, the organization has spread to 21 countries, with more than 1,400 volunteers serving in 43 centers.

In 2005, Heart’s Home was granted special consultative status within the United Nations (ECOSOC) on the basis of its work to promote human dignity and its contribution to the U.N.’s Millennium Development Goals.

Heart’s Home USA involves:

  • 3 centers: Brooklyn, NY, Woodbourne, NY and Spokane, WA.
  • 16 dedicated full-time volunteers working to bring a presence of compassion to the most isolated individuals through regular one-on-one visits.
